It’s normal to worry about rising prices electricity from the last period. It’s also normal to ask yourself questions like: How can I reduce expenses without cutting necessary consumption?
The answer is simple: become a prosumer.
Pros or cons: what is a prosumer?
You’ve probably heard this term before, but you’re not sure what it refers to. According to law no. 220/2008, the prosumer is any end customer who owns electricity production plants. Naturally there are some conditions, such as that the owned systems, including cogeneration, do not exceed the power of 27 kW. Furthermore, the main purpose of electricity production must be personal use and not commercialization.
For a prosumer the most advantageous solution are photovoltaic panels. They take solar energy projected onto the roof of a home or commercial/industrial space and turn it into electricity.
What are the advantages?
With the liberalization of the market there have been massive increases in the prices of electricity supply. Since it is not possible to eliminate this necessity from life, the solution would be to start by producing your own energy.
As? With the help of photovoltaic panels. Since the energy is produced naturally from a renewable resource, the prosumer can enjoy all the electricity he needs without worrying about expenses. Plus, it’s worth it! Technically you can choose between two types of solar panels:
- On the grid: connected to the solar electricity grid;
- Out of network: Energy-independent solar panels that use batteries.
Once connected to a supplier’s grid, solar panels also generate income.
How does it work?
Naturally, in a month the panels will not produce only what is strictly necessary. These will become constant energy sources and excess energy (which remains unused) will be fed back into the supplier’s grid.
And you, the prosumer, will be rewarded. According to the laws in force, the regularization will be carried out monthly, the value of the energy fed into the grid will appear less on the current bill. If the electricity fed into the grid exceeds the amount consumed that month, it will appear with a minus sign on your next bill.
Furthermore, if the value of the solar electricity input exceeds RON 100, the supplier has the obligation to pay the difference to the prosumer within 15 working days.
Solar electricity = we reduce our carbon footprint
Last but not least, these solar systems protect the planet. Electricity is among the major polluters of our time. With each passing year, CO2 emissions increase reach alarming new heights. In 2021, CO2 emissions generated by energy production increased reached 36.3 gigatons (6% increase compared to the previous year).
Conform European Union DirectivesDrastic measures are needed to protect the planet. By 2030 the EU aims to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 45%. The objective is also to increase the production of electricity from renewable sources from 20% to 32%.
Installing solar panels is therefore a step towards sustainability and a better future.
How can the package we offer meet your company’s needs?
Since its inception, Restart Energy has been among the first supporters of sustainability. Solar Reboot Offer considers the supply of green energy for companies, commercial premises, but also private individuals. To date our team has developed over 500 MW, including the largest photovoltaic park in Romania.
On average, a photovoltaic system has a lifespan of approximately 25-30 years. During this period, our projects will avoid 52128 tons of CO2 and 508 kg of radioactive waste. The Restart Solar offer is not only smart for the planet, but also for you.
We offer you a free consultation visitwithout compromises, but with a personalized offer. If all goes well, you will receive our offer within five working days. The photovoltaic system will be ready in a maximum of 6 months.
Depending on the offer you choose, you will enjoy an annual production between 120 MWh and 1200 MWh. This means an annual saving of between €18,000 and €180,000 and a payback of the investment within 5 years.
